Welcome to my home for Christmas

Welcome! I am joining Susan today at Thoughts From Over The Rainbow for her Deck the Halls party. I have been very busy but unfortunately I am not finished. I guess I should not say unfortunately because actually I am enjoying myself, but I think my family will be glad when I'm done! This is our main tree in our Great Room. Usually I decorate it in burgundy and gold but this year opted for red and gold.
A little close-up!
This is a close-up of our mantle. I bought this little Santa on his rocking horse at Hallmark after Christmas last year.

I am in love with this little tree. I put this tree in my dining room last year but wanted to do something different with it this year. I decided to put it in an urn that usually goes outside. I used to have 2 little trees on both sides of my front door but unfortunately they both died. So, I got this bright idea to put my little tree in it. I just love it!! What do you think?

Just a little close-up of my little tree in our dining room.

I hope you enjoyed my tour. I will add more pictures as I finish.
Happy Decorating.

  3. Your trees are beautiful and I especially love the idea of putting the dining room tree in the urn. I am staring at one of my yet to be decorated trees right now and am thinking "urn" :)
